Tone Deaf

Guns suck. People suck worse.

There something mentally unstable with people who worship guns. But okay, I suppose everyone’s got a fetish. If guns are your thing, have it at. But don’t act surprised when someone uses your fetish to murder innocent people.

To be clear: the madman who took aim at Republicans on a baseball field was pure evil. Plain and simple. And if he hadn’t been killed, he deserved to die. (I’m not a knee-jerk bleeding heart against the death penalty. That said, any potential death penalty case should be clear cut with irrefutable, iron-clad evidence, such as with this madman in Alexandria. Innocent people have been put to death. See, contrary to radical right-wing popular belief, liberals are not monolithic. Link provided so you can look it up.)

Neither guns nor evil are going to disappear. But after what happened in Alexandria, instead of addressing the proliferation of guns and evil, our elected officials and the media are telling us to watch our tone. That both sides must be more mindful and careful about how we disagree.

This is absolute false equivalency bullshit! Continue reading “Tone Deaf”

The Dehumanization Begins

Eric Trump is an entitled douchebag who has no idea he’s talking about himself.

Last night on Sean Calamity Shamity’s propaganda of lies show on the sly-as-a-fox “news” channel, he said Democrats in Washington are not even people. This is a blatant attempt to dehumanize and eventually make it easier to rationalize violence, or worse, extermination. We’ve been here before and we cannot allow corrosive hate like this to go unchallenged.

What he said is not only vile and disgusting, it is dangerous. It sends a signal to the brainwashed—or as I like to call them asswashed for having their heads so far up Sean Shamity’s rectum—and mind-controlled flock that violence against your adversary is justified, because after all, they aren’t human. His comment needs to be vehemently denounced by all decent human beings. Especially Republicans. Hello? Are there any decent ones still out there? Continue reading “The Dehumanization Begins”

Sowing the Seeds

It’s a settled fact that Russia meddled in our general presidential election. All of our intelligence agencies agree it happened. But this question keeps coming to mind: did Russia also meddle in the Republican primary to help Trump become the nominee? And if they did, why isn’t the GOP outraged about the possibility of their primary being hacked and stolen?

I suspect some in the GOP knew about the meddling and turned a blind eye. As long as the meddling would help keep Hillary out of the White House, they were fine with it. Why else would McConnell take the risk of holding up Obama’s Supreme Court nominee? Which he did with more than a bit of confidence. Did he know the fix was in? But didn’t know that it would lead to a President Trump? Continue reading “Sowing the Seeds”

The Touch-and-Go Asylum

GUEST POST BY MSFFILES

This may be one of the darkest pieces I have written. Of course, in my eyes, it is a “feel good” piece! This is the kind of piece that friends would say to me, why Michele if you had not written this piece, I would tell you it was right up your alley! It has YOU written all over it!

And if you are even a little bit like me, you are waiting for the ball to drop on this, the most corrupt, corroded and craven administration in American history.

And waiting…and waiting…and waiting…and…zzzzzzzzz…

Meanwhile, we’ve got United Airlines videos to watch, and multiple Harry Styles sightings to entertain us. And I know this sounds like the absolute zenith of zero-hope-left-leaning but I am eagerly anticipating the number of passengers on United Airline flights who will deliberately provoke some kind of “mix-up” or altercation so that they too can grab their “aisle be seeing you” battered and bloodied news moment and milk it for every penny. Terms of Indictment

GUEST POST BY MSFFILES

Steve Sack, Star Tribune

In the muddled mess I now call my mental mindset, I run a constant dialogue with my inner IDiot.

Which one of the cravenous crustaceans now infesting the White House (and their Republican rah-rah rat faces) will go down first? Office pools, anyone? The names march through my head like a ticker tapeworm parade. The entire crew stand perched, a set of dominoes, just waiting for the first to go to topple the entire bottom-feeder barnacled bunch.

Has there EVER been a worst set of penal-code-to-come pricks in Washington? These schmucks and their shenanigans make Teapot Dome look like a garden party. (And it is painfully ironic that the Teapot Dome scandal shares a whimsical “imagery” with that sludgy slew of slime known as Tea Partiers. Out of the teapot into the tea party.) 100% Pure Projection

Trump is nothing but 100% pure projection.

When a person projects, they tend to fervently accuse others of traits, flaws, and issues that are really about themselves. It is blame shifting. Trump and his propaganda machine (including feckless Republicans) have mastered this primitive defense mechanism and elevated it to a sickening art form.

Some examples:

Hillary is crooked = I am crooked.
She is corrupt = I am corrupt.
The Clintons are criminals = I am a criminal.
Rosie is a pig = I am a pig.
The election is rigged = I am rigging it.
Obama is sick = I am sick.
The media is the enemy of the people = I am the enemy the people.
Anything he labels or calls a disaster = I am a disaster.

Almost every time he opens his mouth to criticize someone else, he is actually talking about himself.

Commando-in-Chief

Trump appeared to blame the Navy SEALs and President Obama today for the failed Yemen mission that killed Chief Petty Officer William “Ryan” Owens. Unless former President Obama coerced him telepathically to approve the mission, the buck stops with Trump and Trump alone. President Trump is such a disgrace to even hint at blaming the SEALs. He sent them. As Commander-in-Chief, every mission, success or failure, is his responsibility. He is the one who is accountable.

The greatest milking of a goat ever. (It may or may not be an actual goat, but that’s why it’s the greatest milking of goat ever! Who knows? Maybe it’s a goat. Maybe it’s an alternative goat. We just don’t know. Thanks Obama for making it so that we can’t tell animals apart anymore. But it’s still the best milking of a goat by a giant ass. Ever!)

Now, to all the folks out there still supporting this indefensible scapegoater, how do you square up and justify Trump’s blame-shifting and complete inability to take personal responsibility? Is this the kind of disruptive change you voted for? A president who blames the military for following his orders. He lies and lies and lies and people die and yet you still stand by this man. Please, don’t ever talk or preach about morals or values or character again. That argument is over for good. If you still support this man, you have no morals, values, or character. You and your emperor have no clothes—a sad Commando-in-Chief.

When They Go Mi-LO, I Go Mi-LOWER

GUEST POST BY MSFFILES

Just about numero 12,987,664, 325 on my “Wish List of Things to Do” is “give Milo Yanwhateverthefuckhisnameis attention.”

I consider Milo Yanwhateverthefuckhisnameis (from now on, I will refer to him as Y-Mi?”) the female equivalent of Ann Coulter.

Both are rapacious media-whores, whose utter lack of argument or opinion based on any grounds other than an embarrassingly infantile “Oooh! Did s/he really say that!” is so shockingly and stupendously shallow that Republican shill Scott Baio’s grunts as Chachi do seem like Lincoln logs of gravitas in comparison.
